About Lessons

My lessons are based on the CAGED system of guitar — an approach that breaks down the fretboard into easy-to-understand patterns that connect chords, scales, and songs across the entire neck. It’s one of the most effective ways to truly see the guitar and gain creative freedom when playing.

Every musician learns differently — and my goal is to build lessons entirely around you. Whether you’re learning your first chords, exploring new techniques, or refining your tone and improvisation, I’ll help you develop real confidence on the instrument through a personalized approach.

Rather than following a strict curriculum, lessons are shaped around your goals and interests. We focus on what inspires you most — from mastering songs you love to deepening your understanding of fretboard theory and creative expression.

Drawing from my background as a graphic designer, I create custom charts, visuals, and fretboard maps that are personalized to your playing style and learning goals. These materials make complex ideas simple, clear, and specific to you — helping you progress faster and stay motivated.

Whether you want to jam with friends, write your own music, or reach a professional level of musicianship, lessons are designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to get there.

All ages and skill levels are welcome at PMR Guitar Lessons.
