Peter Redmond
I am a passionate guitar teacher interested in teaching anyone with an appetite to learn. My teaching is centered around the students individual goals and I approach music with patience, encouragement, and determination.
My Story
Born and raised in Minnesota as the youngest of seven siblings, I grew up in a family deeply rooted in sports and outdoor adventures.
While music was a part of my life early on, sports took priority as I began to consider my long-term future.
Football led me to the University of St. Thomas, but it was during my time there that I rediscovered my passion for music. I became obsessed with expanding my knowledge and diving deeper into music, while balancing work and my studies.
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Marketing Management, and along the way, I had the opportunity to travel abroad, perform with the UST Guitar Ensemble, and take lessons from talented instructors.
With over eight years of dedicated guitar study and live performance experience, I’ve also been teaching guitar for the past two years. I currently work as a graphic designer while running my guitar lessons business.
My goal is to do meaningful work that aligns with my passions. In my free time, I enjoy practicing Jiu-Jitsu, hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, learning new things, and working on my business.
